During the first months of 2020, the ERUM partners have been working intensely on the development of topical reports related to the quality of information in the media. Each of the five reports looks at how certain topics are represented in the media, namely the recent Covid-19 outbreak, 5G as communication technology, migration (2 reports), and climate change. To this end, researchers selected news articles from both local and international newspapers to analyse the situation and elaborate on the mis- and disinformation that they encapsulate. These reports are based on a methodology which aims at better assessing the reliability and accuracy of media content.
