Inside GreenEUR’s latest Transnational Project Meeting

November 11, 2025

The GreenEUR project is about to enter its final year, and the results of months of collaboration and hard work are beginning to take shape. On 3–4 November 2025, project partners gathered at Eskişehir Technical University (ESTU) for the second Transnational Project Meeting.

Over two days, participants discussed the next steps in developing the Environmental Impact Calculator and the Green Label system — the project’s core outputs designed to assess and label the environmental impact of European projects. The meeting offered an opportunity to fine-tune methodologies, implementation plans and technical details, as partners worked together to ensure the tool will be both practical and impactful.

A major milestone is now on the horizon: the data collection phase, planned for the early 2026 project application cycle for Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships. This phase will provide the essential input needed to test and validate the calculator in real conditions.

In parallel, GreenEUR will also open up to a broader dialogue. In spring 2026, a series of civil society engagement events will take place, offering a platform for associations, national agencies, and local communities active in environmental issues to share their perspectives. These sessions will help refine the tool further, ensuring it resonates with those working on the ground to drive change.

Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months!
