World Café at EAIE 2025: Greening Your Cooperation Projects

World Café at EAIE 2025: Greening Your Cooperation Projects

August 1, 2025

With sustainability taking centre stage across higher education, cooperation projects are no exception. But while the ambition is there, practical guidance on how to design and evaluate greener initiatives is still hard to come by. That’s where our session at the 35th EAIE Conference and Exhibition in Gothenburg comes in.

On Thursday, 11 September (14:00–15:00), colleagues from the University of Lorraine, Eskişehir Technical University, and the European University Foundation will lead the World Café session “Greening your cooperation project: Co-creating solutions to reduce environmental impact” (S7.12).

In this interactive session, we’ll open the floor to shared challenges and hands-on ideas to make cooperation projects more environmentally conscious—from strategy to impact assessment. Together, we’ll explore how to:

  1. Understand and reduce the carbon footprint of your project

  2. Develop targeted and practical sustainability measures

  3. Categorise and communicate your project’s green actions more effectively

Whether you’re already deep into a cooperation project or planning your next one, this session is for you. Let’s move from ambition to action—see you in Gothenburg!
