The REX platform helps students make informed mobility choices through 360° virtual university tours, destination comparisons and practical information. It also helps consortium partners showcase their universities and promotes a more balanced flow of incoming and outgoing students.

Choosing a mobility destination involves more than finding a suitable university. Students also need to understand what it is like to study and live there. The REX project has developed an interactive platform designed to bring this information together and support students in making more informed mobility choices.

A key feature of the platform is its 360° university tour experience, allowing students to explore participating universities and their campuses virtually before making a decision. This gives them a more tangible impression of a potential destination, alongside practical information about the university, courses, city, accommodation, cost of living and student life. The platform, designed to be equally accessible to all students, also includes student reviews, course catalogues and destination comparison tools, helping students consider different options side by side.

It can also support cooperation between consortium partners: by presenting partner universities and their destinations in one platform, institutions can recommend each other to students as potential mobility destinations. This can help partners broaden students’ choices and support a more balanced flow of incoming and outgoing students across the consortium.
