REX Project Consortium Convenes in Versailles

April 4, 2025

The REX Project Consortium gathered for its second transnational partner meeting at Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines on April 2-3, 2025. Over the two days, partners assessed the progress of ongoing project activities. They engaged in in-depth discussions on key priorities, with a shared commitment to making mobility more attractive and accessible for today’s students.

A significant highlight of the meeting was the presentation of work from WP2, which involved an extensive review of relevant literature concerning the project’s objectives. This provided a strong foundation for further discussions on students’ evolving expectations regarding mobility opportunities and the direction of the upcoming work packages. By gaining deeper insights into these changing demands, the consortium aims to support students in making informed choices about mobility destinations that best align with their academic and professional aspirations.

Additionally, the partners at the TPM outlined the next steps for the project, mainly focusing on the upcoming surveys and focus groups that will be conducted among project partners in the coming months. These activities will be crucial in gathering valuable data to refine mobility strategies and to develop the Virtual reality proof of concept.

The meeting concluded on a high note, as the REX consortium had the opportunity to explore the iconic Palace of Versailles, adding a cultural and historical dimension to the productive discussions.
