Prioritise Mental Health of (your) Mobile Students: First Mobile Minds in Motion Webinar

Next month, on the occasion of the 7th European Mental Health Week, the Mobile Minds in Motion consortium will host its first online webinar on 4 May 2026, from 13:00 to 14:30 CEST.

Higher education institutions are often unprepared to fully support students on mobility. In a recent survey, over 90% of staff reported regularly dealing with mental health concerns, yet only a few feel properly equipped to respond. Against this backdrop, the webinar will share key findings from the project’s mapping activities and offer an overview of the current mental health landscape in European higher education.

During the session, consortium experts will present their research and insights, drawing on both data and lived experiences shared by students and staff through participatory activities. The discussion will provide food for thought on how you, at your university, can better support the mental health of mobile students, and what higher education staff can realistically do before, during, and after mobility.
