The Mobile Minds in Motion (MMM) project was represented at EAIE Glasgow 2026 as part of the session “A Mental Health Transformation in Student Mobility”, dedicated to rethinking how higher education can support student well-being throughout the mobility journey.
The session brought together complementary perspectives through three short contributions: AEM Working Group insights and shared institutional practices, Mobile Minds in Motion – “Supporting students’ mental health, wherever they go”, and ESN’s HEI Survival Guide Blueprint.

Through the MMM contribution, we highlighted student mobility as both an academic and an emotional journey, addressing students’ mental health challenges before, during and after mobility and the importance of meaningful support at every stage.
The session created an opportunity to connect research, institutional practice and the student perspective, reinforcing a shared message: supporting mental health should be an integral part of a positive and sustainable mobility experience.
Wherever students go, their well-being should travel with them.
