Have you ever wondered how you can evaluate the environmental impact of Erasmus+ projects?
On November 18th, 2024 the GreenEURProject officially kicked off in Metz, hosted by the project coordinator, Université de Lorraine. The event brought together representatives from Eskişehir Technical University, University of Vigo, Vytautas Magnus University, and the EUF to brainstorm and lay the groundwork for an initiative aimed at assessing the environmental impact of EU-funded projects.
The GreenEURproject is committed to empowering project leaders and project evaluators with tools to assess and reduce the environmental footprint of KA2 projects. These include a green label that recognizes sustainable practices and an environmental impact calculator designed to quantify and mitigate ecological impacts.
This kick-off meeting marked a significant milestone in the journey to make EU-funded projects greener and more sustainable. Participants discussed innovative approaches, shared insights, and outlined a roadmap to ensure the project achieves its ambitious goals.
Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this exciting mission to foster sustainability in Erasmus+ projects!
