The AsCOLA course evaluation tool is here!

April 3, 2025

We are excited to announce that our AsCOLA course evaluation tool for students on mobility is now live and fully operational!

The platform enables Erasmus+ students to evaluate the courses they take abroad, offering them a unique channel to share their perspectives and needs. For the first time, exchange students have a dedicated space to voice their opinions on courses taken abroad, contributing to a more informed and enriched mobility experience.

Choosing the right courses abroad can be challenging when students lack access to first hand feedback. Recognising this gap, AsCOLA project partners developed a tool that not only facilitates sharing information about completed courses but also provides easy access to peer reviews. This dual approach supports students in making well-informed decisions about their mobility destinations.

How does the tool work?

Students can log in using their academic credentials (eduGAIN), national ID (eIDAS), or Google.

Upon logging in, students are directed to the “My evaluations” screen, where they can view the list of courses from their Online Learning Agreement (OLA). To explore course reviews, go to the main menu and select “All evaluations”. Enter the exact course title in the search box, or use the switch to search by the course code. Click on the desired course to view statistics and aggregated evaluations.

Benefits for Higher Education Institutions

While students are the primary beneficiaries, the tool also offers significant value to higher education institutions. Staff members can easily access streamlined evaluations, while institutions gain insights to enhance their educational performance and align internationalisation policies with student feedback.

If your institution uses the EWP Dashboard for Online Learning Agreements, you can access your evaluation results directly through the Dashboard (look for the “Courses evaluation” icon).
For institutions using third-party OLA/LA solutions, an API is available, but its implementation depends on the provider.

By amplifying the voices of Erasmus+ students, the AsCOLA platform contributes to the continuous improvement of the mobility experience.
