The first version of the DACEM digital course catalogue is here! This milestone marks the start of turning an ambitious idea into a practical tool that will make it easier for students and universities to navigate mobility opportunities across Europe.

This 1.0 release will be piloted throughout autumn 2025 by partner universities which will populate the catalogue with as much information as possible about their institutions and study programmes. Additionally, they will also provide feedback on functionality and content. The focus is on building a strong foundation of information that reflects both academic offers and the wider institutional context.

In early 2026, a second pilot phase will begin, shifting the spotlight to students. With the support of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), students will be invited to explore the catalogue, use its features, and share feedback on how complete, clear, and useful the information is for planning mobility experiences.

What makes the DACEM catalogue different?

While course catalogues already exist, DACEM goes further:

  • Centralised access: It brings together information from multiple institutions in one place, rather than limiting users to a single university.
  • Resources and services: Going beyond academic programmes, it also includes details on resources and services offered by each institution—an element recommended in the ECTS Student Guide (2015).
  • Richer institutional profiles: The catalogue provides detailed information on campuses, locations, and organisational units. This not only helps students orient themselves but also supports institutions in identifying and managing existing inter-institutional agreements.

With these features, the DACEM catalogue is designed to be a practical tool that serves both students and universities, making student mobility planning clearer, more transparent, and better connected.
