Although the DACEM project officially concluded this summer with its successful final event in Brussels, the conversation on the future of digital academic catalogues is far from over.
This October, DACEM returns with a dedicated physical workshop as part of the Higher Education Transformation Week 2026, giving everyone who missed the earlier events a golden second chance to get first-hand insights into the DACEM Academic Catalogue platform, and to connect with other projects driving transformative change through AI and digitalisation in higher education.
The DACEM Workshop will take place on Thursday, 15 October 2026, from 13:30 to 17:30 in Brussels (Rue d’Egmont 13, 1000 Bruxelles).
Through partner presentations, live demonstrations, and interactive discussions, the workshop will show how academic catalogues can become more accessible, interoperable, and sustainable — covering the platform from both a student’s and an institution’s perspective, the needs of European University Alliances, interoperability frameworks like Erasmus Without Paper, OCCAPI, and ELM, and policy recommendations for the future of digital academic catalogues in Europe.
