DACEM project partners are currently analysing how European universities share vital course information with students embarking on mobility experiences. This ongoing mapping exercise, conducted over the summer, includes a series of focus group discussions with students, university staff, and other key stakeholders.
These discussions have provided invaluable insights into the current state of online course catalogues (CC). Students frequently face challenges such as confusing and outdated course descriptions, and language barriers, which complicates their planning process. However, certain universities have successfully implemented transparent and easily accessible catalogues, serving as examples for improving access to course information.
Our next step is to compile a comprehensive report, which will be available at the end of the year. This report will lay the groundwork for developing a new solution to make course information more accessible and easier to navigate for students across Europe.
We look forward to sharing more updates as the project moves forward!
